Charleston-AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a Full Time Admissions Coordinator responsible for providing admission coordination services for patients to the facility, monitoring admissions and responding to inquiries regarding status of the census. Involve numerous contacts by phone and in person with internal and external customers. Primary contacts are patients, families, referral sources, intake department staff, and clinical branch manager.  Minimum of one year work experience as an Admissions Coordinator in a hospital setting with knowledge of Medicare Part A.

Job Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience with hospital patient admissions and verification of insurance coverage.
  • Minimum of six months to one year’s work experience in a related field.
