Charleston-AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Case Management Assistant!  The Case Management Assistant (CMA) completes various duties to enhance the efficiency of the Case Management Department, as well as support the daily functions of the Case Managers. The CMA assists in securing arrangements for the discharge transition and post-acute services and serves as the liaison between the Case Management Department, payers, and service providers. The Case Management Assistant, under the supervision of the Case Manager, assists in discharge planning assessments.

Job Requirements

  • Two or more years of work experience in healthcare environment.
  • If not LPN, RN co-signature required by Case Manager and/or RN for all documentation assistance.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Additional languages desirable.
  • Excellent time management skills; organized and able to prioritize
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Possesses superb written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues and others
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple cases
  • Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, schedules, dates, and information
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
