AMG Specialty Hospital – North Mississippi is seeking a Full Time Central Supply & HIM Clerk. This is a dual role position overseeing Central Supply responsibilities and Medical Records responsibilities. Central Supply responsibilities include assisting in establishing requirements for items or services to be procured and develops standard specifications. Supervises storage, control and issuance of materials, and maintains contact with supply sources, sales representatives, to keep informed of price trends, availability of supply, new items and reliability of suppliers. HIM Clerk responsibilities include maintaining and organizing medical records in accordance with Federal and State Laws and regulations. Adheres to facility policies and procedures; performs clerical duties in support of services in the Health Information Management Department, to include but not limited to, review of medical records for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness; filing medical records; maintaining patient confidentiality; and retrieving patient medical records when required.
