AMG Specialty Hospital – Hancock Campus is offering a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus* for a Full Time Charge Nurse, RN for Night Shifts! 

Charge Nurse supervises the patient care activities performed by other RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Communicate with Physicians/CCO/staff, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.  Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Responsible for fostering a positive milieu in the hospital. The Charge Nurse keeps CCO and CEO apprised of situations that may place facility at risk. Provides direct patient care as required based on staffing and patient acuity.  Some of the medical conditions that are commonly treated include but are not limited to; Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula. Depending on the complexity of these patients, they can require sedation/pain management, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics.  Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes. RN’s will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting. Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Shift Differentials are paid for all Night and Weekend Shifts!

$15,000- Sign-On Bonus or Tuition Reimbursement is offered as per the terms of an Employment Assistance Agreement with a 2-year minimum commitment.

Job Requirements

  • Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure
