Summary

AMG, Integrated Healthcare Management is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated full-time Healthcare Recruiter.  The Healthcare Recruiter is essential to the company’s success by partnering alongside hospital leadership, Corporate clinical leadership, and Human Resources to develop and implement recruiting plans in AMG’s markets. This position is based out of Lafayette, Louisiana and reports to the Corporate Chief Operating Officer (COO).

The Healthcare Recruiter will serve as Lead Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Ambassador and chair the company’s ESOP Ambassador Committees.  The Lead ESOP Ambassador will promote and educate employees and potential employees on the company’s (ESOP), a long-tenure retirement benefit.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruiting plans and marketing strategies for Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other clinical staff in assigned markets to meet recruitment goals.
  • Development relationships with local nursing schools and other resources.
  • Evaluate and interview candidates by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with various providers.
  • Continuously design and implement an effective sourcing strategy.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; and emphasizing benefits and incentives.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Manages intern program by conducting interviews with educational institutions.
  • Develop and present EOSP presentations for current and potential employees.
  • Travel to hospital locations twice each month.
  • Organize and plan ESOP meetings with ESOP Ambassadors.

Job Requirements

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and human relation skills
  • Three to five years related of recruiting or marketing/sales experience
  • The position requires a positive and energetic individual with strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Monthly overnight travel, including out of state
