Acadiana Management Group, LLC dba AMG- Integrated Healthcare Management (AMG), an employee-owned company, is hiring a full-time Managed Care Assistant in Lafayette, LouisianaThe Managed Care Assistant reports directly to and works with the Vice President of Managed Care; and is knowledgeable of healthcare managed care contracts or contracting. She/he will work analytically with data to provide statistical reporting for company leadership. They will also keep up with various databases, contract changes, and timeliness tracking for contract renewals.

Job Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelors’ degree preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience with managed care contracting experience, preferably in the hospital setting.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills/detail oriented
  • Must be organized, be able to multi-task and assist with managing timelines, deadlines, and follow-up with payors
  • Will be responsible for the loading of contracts, amendments and other documents as needed
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
  • Must be able to articulately communicate, interpret and explain complex information and comprehend written, verbal and electronic communication positively.
