About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-focused full-time Clinical Liaison who is a Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT).
This role combines clinical expertise, relationship development, and patient advocacy. The Clinical Liaison helps appropriate patients transition to AMG for continued specialized hospital-level care.
The position primarily covers Indianapolis area hospitals and requires daily travel to hospitals, referral sources, meetings, and prospective referral partners.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate referred patients for clinical appropriateness
- Educate physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals about AMG’s services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral partners
- Identify patients who may benefit from long-term acute care hospital services
- Support timely communication and a smooth referral and admission process
- Help increase appropriate referrals, admissions, and hospital census
- Manage and grow an assigned territory

You’ll have clear performance expectations, including:
- Your individual referral and admission results
- Growth and development of referral relationships within your territory
- Contributions to the Clinical Liaison team’s overall census goals
- Consistent follow-up and responsiveness to referral partners
- Accurate and timely patient reviews
Job Requirements
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT)
- Previous hands-on clinical experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence interacting with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to evaluate medically complex patients
- A self-motivated, goal-oriented approach
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory each day
