AMG Specialty Hospital – Zachary seeks a Full Time Human Resources Representative. Under the supervision of Administration, the Human Resources Representative is the representative for the entire hospital.  They will maintain personnel records, policy and procedure manuals, processes new hire personnel, conducts orientation for new hires, coordinate with payroll functions, tracking of time and attendance and other employee related matters, and assure compliance with State and Federal labor guidelines, as well as HR standard guidelines of other regulatory bodies.  Develops and coordinates programs for all hospital staff members regarding compliance of State and Federal standards.  Human Resources experience required; hospital experience beneficial.

Job Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment law guidelines
  • Minimum of two years work experience in human resources and payroll preferred
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • Must be able to articulately communicate, interpret and explain complex information and comprehend written and verbal communication
  • Additional languages desirable
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, human relation and communication skills
