Mrs. Wallace is a native of Lake, MS. She graduated in 1997 from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS where she achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Mrs. Wallace has worked in a variety of settings including ER, CV ICU, Pediatric ICU, LTAC and Home Health, and has been in various management roles since 2005. Mrs. Wallace moved to the Mississippi Delta region in 2000 and was one of the first employees hired at AMG Specialty Hospital- Greenwood when it opened in August, 2004. She quickly transitioned into a management role and became Director of Clinical Services in Fall, 2005. In late 2007, Mrs. Wallace left the LTAC to become Nurse Manager over North Mississippi for PrimeCare Nursing, the largest healthcare staffing agency in MS. She returned to AMG Specialty Hospital- Greenwood in June, 2010 as the Director of Clinical Services. Mrs. Wallace transitioned into the CEO role in Spring, 2012.
She is an active member of MsAHQ (Mississippi Association for Healthcare Quality), APIC, MONE (Mississippi Organization of Nurse Executives) and Junior Auxiliary of Grenada. She has also served on the Advisory Board at Mississippi Delta Community College School of Nursing. Mrs. Wallace obtained her certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) in 2014.
In September of 2014, Mrs. Wallace was named the “Delta Council Nurse Leader of the Year” through the Mississippi Hospital Association and was also awarded an AMG “Top Performer” award.
