Mrs. Fontenot graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2012 with a degree in Health Information Management. She is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC).
After graduating from college, Mrs. Fontenot began her career with Acadiana Management Group (AMG) in July 2012 in the Medical Staff Compliance field as the Credentialing Manager, overseeing the operations of the Centralized Credentialing Department and maintained this role for 11 years.
In February 2023, Mrs. Fontenot transitioned into the AMG Corporate Compliance Officer role and now oversees the AMG Corporate Compliance Program. She is responsible for implementing auditing and monitoring activities from risks identified through the annual risk assessment, developing training for all workforce members regarding compliance with State and Federal Regulations, and leading the Corporate Compliance Committee, AMG Directors, and hospital CEOs to ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
Mrs. Fontenot is an active member of the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). In her leisure time, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband, son, daughter and three dogs.
