August J. Rantz, IV, is President of Acadiana Management Group, where his visionary leadership has driven the company’s transformation from a regional healthcare firm into a nationally recognized leader in post-acute specialty hospital services. Under his guidance, Acadiana Management Group has earned acclaim for revitalizing distressed hospitals, preserving hundreds of jobs, and delivering superior care to critically ill patients. His dynamic approach to healthcare management and strategic growth has been featured in Inside Healthcare magazine.
A native of New Orleans, Mr. Rantz earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he served as Senior Class President. Before joining Acadiana Management Group full-time in 2006, he practiced healthcare regulatory compliance and corporate law at Gachassin Law Firm. A former collegiate baseball player, Mr. Rantz remains a dedicated supporter of athletics, serving on the Executive Committee of the Ragin’ Cajun Athletic Foundation and the Advisory Board for Catalyst Bank. He is also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association.
